Boyd’s Tire & Service has been a familiar name in Central Ohio for over 20 years now, with locations in Eastpointe, Northgate, Polaris, Westerville, Marysville, Hilliard, and Bethel. At our seven locations around the greater Columbus, OH area, we’ve become known for our state-of-the-art automotive and light truck service, as well as great deals on Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly tires.

Today, we thought you might like to get to know a little more about our Columbus location!

Our Bethel Centre site in Columbus was purchased from an existing operator back in 2005. Manager Larry Scowden has been managing that store for over ten years; Larry grew up in the auto repair business, going all the way back to when he worked at his family service station as a kid. The Columbus/Bethel Centre store is staffed with two technicians who possess ASE’s vaunted Master Certified Technician status. We’re able to take on oil changes, engine diagnostics, A/C repair, transmission service and everything you’ve come to expect from Boyd’s Tire & Service at our Bethel Centre store.

The story doesn’t just end there, though.

Our Columbus store is also a Proud Partner of the Columbus Crew SC – if you didn’t know, Columbus Crew is a professional soccer team in the Major League Soccer organization. In fact, we just recently inked an agreement to be an official partner in this group!

As the season ramps up in 2017, you can expect to see on-field advertising, radio ads and signage underneath the stands at MAPFRE Stadium (actually the first-ever stadium built in the United States for an MLS team). We have a co-op agreement with Continental Tires (the official tire of Major League Soccer) toward this advertising campaign, and there will be fun for the fans as well in front of the stadium. There will be a full-size soccer goal, and fans can take a shot at kicking a soccer ball through a full-size Continental tire!

Look for a picnic table and tent where you can sign up for giveaways starting 90 minutes prior to all home games, and we’ll also be offering tire estimates for prospective customers. On your way out of the stadium, be sure to pick up a postgame handout from Boyd’s Tire & Service Center!

We’re proud to be connected with Columbus Crew – with the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Supporters’ Shields and MLS Cup in 2008, they’ve racked up a pretty impressive track record over the years.
